War is raging inside the minds of young people. We are at a crossroads in which we are forced to choose between falling into the trap set by the growing culture of entitlement and victimhood that has made us fragile and whiny, and rejecting this mindset in favor of those virtues that have been forgotten and that encourage us to take ownership for our lives, to become strong, disciplined, courageous, driven and proud. It is absolutely imperative that we reclaim those values and understand that our meaning is to be found in the challenges that come when pursuing greatness, and in overcoming the hard situations that we encounter in life. That’s how we will change the world for the better. That’s how we will save ourselves from aimlessly drifting. That’s how we’ll find our purpose and become all that we are meant to become.
